Oh What a Tangled Web We Weave!

Block 6 (one of them) of Cobblestone Lane in progress.
All the strings look like a spiderweb.

Oh, Billie - just keep coming out with such beautiful blocks - one right after another. You should take a break from the computer more often - hey you might actually put those blocks into a finished quilt. Love ya hon!

Pretty :) Strings are such a good excuse for popping in a good movie and snuggling up on the sofa!

That is such a lovely block. I have missed the others. I don't think I would have ever chosen that background fabric for fear that it would be too busy, but it works wonderfully and gives the block somehow a less formal feel than it might have if the background was something less interesting and plain (like I would have chosen!). Thanks for sharing your work.

This is a very charming block. I love that the block contains so many different shapes. (I'm beginning to think I am easily bored).

Your block turned out beautifully - not sure why you have all those strings - I must be doing something wrong.

Just beautiful. How do you always put the colors together so beautifully? Wish I could learn how to do that half as well as you.

Beautiful block, Billie. Amazing what we can do when we step away from the computer. LOL!
