Getting old sucks!
and I'm sure I'm not alone with this feeling.
LOL
I've worked a long time finishing these blocks...yep I know I'm slow, but sewing is just for my own pleasure. I added some of the sashing and laid them out on the bed.
I quickly saw that I was three blocks short. No big deal. I finally figured out that I was suppose to make four of the same block and put them in the corners.
Today, I went to take a couple of photos for my blog which I have definitely been ignoring since the holidays.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
I can plainly see I've used two different background fabrics. Why am I just seeing this today, I don't know. Mick says I never notice anything. Houses have been built in our neighborhood that I've never noticed going up.
Looks like I might have to get that cataract surgery sooner than I planned....:(
So much for working under Ott Lights.
I won the potholder on the right at Bunco when I was about 30....39 years ago.
It's seen better days. Since it was always my favorite, I decided that I'd just make another. I won't share how much fabric I used to make the one on the left....giggle. I kept cutting it backwards. Due to some cutting problems it came out a little smaller, and yes I forgot the inside lining and to quilt it. Seems like more is going wrong with me than just my eyes.
Just saying...........
Yea!!! My pity party is over. Off to read.
