Block 5

 

Big Mick is off playing at the coast with Shelley, Isla and Grace.

 

A normal day in my house consist of Big Mick bringing me my coffee in bed.  They call me Laura Bush....giggle

My son and the rest of his family are visiting me.  I mentioned I didn't fix coffee yesterday.

 

This morning I got up to a hot cup of coffee and donuts.  Yummy!

Why Me Lord.

More family coming tomorrow.  We will be visiting with them, and my friend Kathy and watching the girls swim.  Kathy I can't thank you enough.

 

Maybe my feet will catch a few rays....giggle.

This is my favorite block so far with a summer wreath...grin.

Kris at Kris Loves Fabric and I are sewing along together on this cute Kate Spain pattern.  She's using lovely wintery fabrics.  I just looked at hers and it's sooooo cute!.....falala!

I had a big win from Echinops and Aster Honeycomb Stitch Along for my pillow.  It was a $50.00 gift certificate from Intrepid Thread, and boy did I have fun spending it....:D

I'm finally back home for a little while.

Mom still can't get up and down by herself, but my oldest brother relieved us.

She goes into Assisted Living on Sunday.

Crossing my fingers all goes well.

 

She is much improved from her nasty fall.  She'll miss her friends from the Independence Living place she's been at.  Everyone was stopping by to tell her Goodbye.
