Hey!!! Welcome back....

everyone.  Guess blogger is getting fixed.

Where did all the flowers go....I mean Followers...grin.

Looks like all my followers disappeared into the wind.  Blogger is definitely going through the change of life.  Most of the time I can't even post on my friends blogs.  I'm really not ignoring you guys and gals.

Not sure I have the patience for all this anymore.

I'm all alone today...

The pretty fox family has left their home under our storage building.  Wonder if the kids were big enough to send off on their own.  I sure had a great time watching Momma fox take care of her babies.

As for my Mom, she recovered from her fall and her colitis and has made the move to new digs.  She's now in independent living, with food, if she wants, delivered right to her room.  She's already been to the in house beauty shop and has her own bath person.

What a life!  Big Mick does call her Queenie....giggle.  She says she is being spoiled.  We moved her into her new home.  Two of her granddaughters came down to help her finish unpacking and learn the ropes of her new place.  Mick will finish moving things out of her old apartment and my daughter will clean it on Saturday.

I'm unpacking all the things she said she was SURE I wanted and trying to find a place for them in our home.  We are now the official store house for things she didn't want to let go and was sure she could never find in the store again.  I guess we do get attached to our things.

Big Mick is golfing and should be home shortly.

Mick took these from our patio.  We saw 4 babies today, but he wasn't quick enough to get more pictures.  He'll try again.  It looks like they come out twice a day so far for playtime.

Under our storage building lives a family of little grey foxes.  I can't get close enough for a picture of them.  Yesterday we saw three running around attacking each other.  They would fly about four foot up a tree and get each other.  It was soooo cute, but I am keeping my distances.  They were having such fun.

This morning it looked like Daddy fox running down the drive to the field across the street.  Maybe he went for breakfast.  It's the same fox the Black birds attacked a couple of weeks ago.

Mom said thanks to everyone for their prayers and good thoughts!

A Few Minutes to Post.....

I've never seen a Moss Rose this large.  The flowers are huge when they open all the way.

How sweet is Kathy!  She brought Mom and me these Orchids

and some special little chocolate deserts.  No picture of the goodies.  I waited to long to find my camera and they were all gone.....grin.

Another sweet gift from my daughter.  It's the little cutie next to my favorite frog.  If you push the right button he'll run all over the place and make cute noises.

Since we packed a suitcase for a trip

for just the two of us.

We stayed at the Hyatt on the Riverwalk in

San Antonio.

There are two water bottles on the right of the TV.  If you pick them up, you are automatically charged.  Good thing my daughter warned us.

Big Mick had my daughter make the reservations as a surprise for me.  On Wednesday before we left, my Mom had another fall.  As we were rushing to the hospital in Austin, Mick told me about the reservations.  I thought he was pulling my leg....as usual.

My brother stayed with Mom for two days while we partied.  At our age that is lots of beer and tacos.

We did have fun, and it was so nice to be just the two of us again.

We came back to Mom's for a few days, and packed her up and brought her home to our house.  She had lots of brusies and a small crack to one rib that is still hurting.

Guess we get to party again when I'm 72..........I'll be using Mom's walker by then.....grin.
