The Last Look......Sew Spooky

Totally finished!

I have a house of windows with no walls to hold my quilts.  What else to do, but hang it in the window.  On the other side of the window is a covered patio.  There will be no direct sunlight coming in.

There is still another border, but I'm not sure I have enough fabric.  I'll have to decide if I'll add it or not.  But not today.  This has worn me out!!  I'm taking the rest of the day off!

Boy this is going to take a while to do 14 bats, 4 big stars, and 10 little ones.

First border and one to go.  The next one has 14 bats and a bunch of stars.

My back got tried dragging this from the sewing room to the pool room to lay it out, but I'm sure I burned at least 10 calories.

Sashing is finished and WIP Wednesday

Sashing is finished with only a couple of inches left of the fabric.  That was cutting it close.  It really is square (I hope).  My sewing room is small and full, so I had to take it from an angle.

 

The next border is candy corn.  Think I'll eat some for the occasion.

Mom's been a little under the weather, so I would greatly appreciate some prayers if you are so inclined.  The doctor has put her on steriods for a little while with oxygen at night, plus a 3 day antibiotic.  For those that don't know Mom, she is going to be 92 in December.  Since she talked to Big Mick on the phone for over an hour this morning (grin), she must be feeling better today.
