The QAL group is almost to the end, but I do believe all the block directions are still there.  I still have blocks 13-18 to do and block 11 (a sad story indeed....giggle).

Mom is out of the hospital and has been in rehab since her birthday on Dec 20.

She seems to be doing pretty good for 92.

Sure missed having her here for Christmas.

2013 NewFO Challenge

 

This will be one of my NewFO Challenges for 2013.  The pattern is A Day in Giverny by Sherri K Falls at This and That Patterns .  The beautiful fabric is Chateau Rouge by French General.  It's so yummy.

 

 

 

I hope to use Independence Trail for the Ben Franklin Mystery by Erik Homemade .  I just love the blocks she's posting.

So far, that's about all I've actually planned.  I will be using some of these fabrics for 2013.  I especially love Nell's Flower Garden in the front of second picture.

Quilt Block Recipes at Scrapbox Quilts

Kat has added a new page to her blog at Scrapbox Quilts called Quilt Block Recipes.  You should definitely go check this out.  Kat said most will be EQ7 patterns, but some will be pdf files.

 

Go take a look.  I always enjoy myself at Kat's.

I've pulled all my hair out!!!!

I have no clue what I did wrong to my Block 11 for How Far will you go QAL??  I'm too old for all this drama (giggle).

I printed out 4 pages of the template pattern and sewed away.  I always check that my printer is on "none".  All the little squares on the paper pattern are 1/4 inch too short except for 2.  How these 2 turned out correct when they are 4 to a page, I have no clue.  The template seems to be fine.

This is now becoming my new UFO early because it fried my brain.  Off to work on a different UFO!!  after New Years!!!  Sure wished I had her waist....or any waist....LOL.
