She has a great voice - but I have never understood that song!
I love the Hallelujah chorus but I, too, always wondered what the meaning was of some of the lines. Lines like bathing in the moonlight, tied to a kitchen chair and shooting someone. Puzzles me for sure. Sort of seems like not quite the song for an 8 year old although she does a beautiful job of singing it.
Love the song her voice is beautiful!
