Sew Sweet Simplicity

Finished Top
Yes, I'm so proud of myself!!  I finished something...well almost.  :)

Sew Sweet Simplicity QAL

 #SewSweetSimplicity

It's free, but you do have to sign up for the project for the patterns.

I have really enjoyed the QAL and have learned a better way to make my Flying Geese.
They came out much better.

Thanks so much JacqueLynne for my fun adventure.

I really liked the quilt but when I saw the blocks up close I just loved it! I like how they are pieced with some applique' in the center. It really makes it!

What a beautiful quilt, Billie! Thanks for your comment on my Dear Jane block. The batiks are really keeping my interest this time around on DJ (I have 9 other orphan non-batik blocks that will probably end up as a tote bag someday). We went to the Dallas Quilt Celebration this weekend. There were two Dear Janes present; one of them was completed in 167 days! How is that even possible!!!!

Take care,
Susan in Texas

Oh. My. GOODNESS!!! And you claim to have not accomplished much lately. Hmmm??? This is a delightful quilt. I love, love, love all those PERFECT blocks and the colour palette of this quilt is scrumptious! Well done, Billie B! By the way... I am blown away by those individual block photos. How did you manage to photograph them so straight and squarely?

Your squares and the fabric you choose is the absolute prettiest quilt I have ever seen. I love the happy colors . . . You know, if I listed everything that I like about it, I would be typing all night. The things that I don't like about it would be a much shorter list.
#1. Absolutely nothing:)
You did an amazing job and you have every right to feel proud.
Have a lovely day.
Connie :)
