Lovely gift from Allie She has the pattern for sale on her blog. Go check it out!
Allie brought her boys to Austin for a Gamer's convention. I was lucky to be able to spend some time with Allie although not nearly enough.
We had a blast talking about everything we could think of.
Mick and I thought it was so fun to meet with someone and feel like we had always know them.
Big Mick took us to Threadgills in Austin. Yes that's us posing below Janis Joplin....:)
Mick and I ate big and Allie ate a salad...giggle. Now I know where her thin figure comes from.
:)
Really enjoyed myself Allie!

Yeah - Billie's back! What great fun to meet up with another 'stitcher' and you are standing. I haven't started 'Farm Girl' - my winter, stuck in house project.
sounds like you had a great time, like the above comment I too have yet to start my quilt, mind you only got the book 2 weeks ago but it is on the "to do one day" list
Great blocks as usual!
Wonderful blocks. I really like this vintage farm girl, but didn't get started at the beginning - can't afford another book for a while! Your fabric choices/colors are great. It's fun to see the pears here, and I saw the cherries on someone's blog, too. I love Allie's pattern - and it's FREE! Lucky you, getting to meet her.
Feed and seed block is beautiful. You choose such great colors. The pear looks good enough to eat.
How fun! Glad you were able to get together. And your blocks are gorgeous. Sigh - I'll be so glad when I'm done with all the WIPS so I can try some of the great things/ideas offered via the NET. Thanks for linking to WIPs Be Gone.
How great to get to meet Allie! I'm thrilled for you both!
I am SO GLAD we got to meet hon, I enjoyed you two immensely, two nicer people just can't be found anywhere!!! I just wish we lived closer, and could take turns having tea on the porch....maybe an air-conditioned porch....lol~! Seriously you guys felt like family, you made me so comfortable and welcome.
I adore your blocks - what great designs!
Those blocks are just beautiful the fresh pears are delicious!
Have a great day.
It is fun to meet fellow bloggers. I know a couple of the folks I follow and then 2013 I asked one blogger (Donna @ Donna's Lavender Nest) if she wanted to come to my quilt retreat and she said yes and the rest is history. Love her to death. One day I hope to meet you and a couple of others. Just gotta make time between work and life.
Love your blocks as always.
