What sweet blocks, Billie. You do such marvelous work! I couldn't believe the other day it said it was 100 in Houston. Lordy, with the heat index it must have been 107 - hope it breaks soon for all of you. Thanks for linking to WIPs Be Gone.

Yes, sweet blocks!
We had rain overnight, and I woke up to 70degrees. Actually had goosebumps when I took my coffee outside, haha. Hopefully this little 'cooldown' is heading your way!

How cute your fussy cutting is. That just makes the blocks. The squirrel is too funny. Sometimes I feel like throwing myself in the birdbath, too. LOL

My daughter reports hot temps down SA way! Ahh, Tx heat, love your blocks. That black accent fabric really works poor hot little squirrel. Thank goodness you've provided water for all the little critters.

seeing both yours and Bev`s blocks I have had to buy the book to have a go at this quilt one day but not now! Wish we had some of your hot weather, once again overcast here

Both of these are beautiful blocks!
I too love your fussy cut fabrics.
I'm sure that squirrel appreciates your bird bath to cool off in.
Hope some cooler weather rolls in for your soon!

Nice blocks - I love that roof piece! I also love squirrels. Although the babies right outside my window keep waking me up every morning between 3:20 and 4:15, and then I can't get back to sleep. . . Don't they know they should stay quiet until full sunrise? ;D
