The pumpkin block is beautiful and I love the red headed wood pecker bird . I guess that is what they are called.Their peak is really long.
That pumpkin block is so neat - love it. The other one has great fabrics, too. We have the woodpeckers - never seen them that close before, just hear them and see them way up in the trees. Are those other birds migratory? Thanks for linking to WIPs Be Gone, Billie.
Lovely fabrics you are using with this - super blocks. Love seeing the birds. We have a bird bath with the little fountain and the birds won't go near it. Although I think a big, black cat has something to do with that.
Love the pumpkin, and the first one looks like it could be one of my F2F blocks this month! Your pictures of the birds are just astounding! Great job on those, and thanks for sharing. You don't often see a female cardinal!
What fabulous pictures
Both blocks are terrific, but I just LOVE that Pumpkin!
Such beautiful pictures of the cardinals and woodpecker!
I really enjoy seeing pictures of your backyard "neighbors".
some more great blocks , like your bird pictures, Has it cooled down any out there? raining here today
This is a delightful pumpkin blocks. Isn't it nice to have orange fabric at this time of year?
I am a bird watcher (amateur) so I really enjoyed your bird photos. Love the closeups.
2 great blocks, I do have the book butt not even looked at it yet! Some amazing photos you have shared with the woodpecker, presume you have a good zoom or maybe you were closeup lucky you
I especially love that first block! Aw, I want a Pileated Woodpecker to come visit me in my backyard. How lucky are you! Great pics!
What an adorable pumpkin!
Look at your awesome bird pictures! I'm jealous. :) I really want to get a heated birdbath this winter.
Ooh I'm loving all these blocks so much, Billie! Your pics of Woody and Co. made me laugh - I can still hear my dad imitating Woody Woodpecker, he did the laugh perfectly!
beautiful captures!! i have a birdbath and no matter WHO is out there the minute I open the back door, even quietly and stealthily, camera in hand, they fly away!
