30/30 Sewing Challenge

I DID it!.....giggle

I sewed my 30 minutes a day and then a little for the first week of March.

Here are my results!

Block 20 for The Ben Franklin Mystery at Erik Homemade

Next was the March Block from The Hexie Blog QAL.

This is just laying on the possible background.

I started a new project The Gypsy Wife.

I was suppose to use 4 fabrics to make the Color Wheel block and only used two.  I think I just lost the flavor of the quilt.  Maybe I'll make a new block or I can rename it the Gypsy's Wife (whose not a Gypsy) and keep it plain....giggle.

I think I'm going to have to work on sewing on the wild side.  This is so strange, because I lived on the wild side until I got a brain.  I need to try to relive my youth through my fabrics.

The Gypsy  or Gypsy's Wife will be my new start for March if I remember to post it.

30/30 Sewing Challenge

I'm going to give this a try.  30 minutes of sewing a day for 30 days on my projects.  Well actually all I have are my projects.  

I just going to try to get myself motivated again, so wish me luck.

and if I get in the swing of things MAYBE

The grandkids will be here for Spring Break but they are pretty big now.   Mick and Shelley will take them to Sea World for a couple of days.

Just.... Say a little prayer for (me) and I'll say one for you.

Ben Franklin and I Still Can't

......believe I did it again.  Several of the Ben Franklin Blocks last photo in the direction have looked separated like this.  It never occurred to me I wasn't suppose to sew them together, but leave them in 4 parts........Good Grief Charles Brown!!!

When will I learn to read directions.

To my regular followers this is no surprise.

Yes, right now I'm LOL at myself.

By now I'm an expert at using my seam ripper.  We all have our talents and that one is mine.

A-1 Pinwheel Gone Awry

I scanned and saved the photo to my computer.  It looks normal on my computer, but when I add it to my blog it looks warbley (I know it's not a word :) )  I've resized the block before adding it from normal to small and it still does the same thing.  My last DJ block did the same thing as well.

 

Is anyone else having this problem??
