Applique Tuesday

Shocking I know, but it is in the hoop. I've actually hand quilted a little of my special stitch. I call it the Morse code stitch. Some of you will remember that I perfected this particular stitch on my Mom's quilt shown on the header.

Dot, dot, dash, dot, dash

All that work, and it doesn't even show...yikes. This quilt may end up on the machine, but that really scares me.

A little bit of sunshine today that made me smile.

I totally love that little print. There is another one on the other side of the big window.

I found the prints for 99 cents each at Ikea and framed them.

I look at them everyday. They make me happy.

I was so sure I blogged about this block. Looked all through my blog and nope....it wasn't there. Maybe I dreamed it.

Block 9 is already up at Linda's, so we know what I'll be doing today.

I rarely post photos of myself, but what the heck. Here's me and my twin (GRIN). I'm at HogEye Festival in Elgin, Texas. The weather was cool enough for me to go outside.

I've almost worn my current machine out. Look at this cutie. She's called Melody and I want her to be mine.....:) She has a precise 1/4 foot.....alrighty that's for me.....and room to quilt.

You all know how I love stars. We should take a vote to see if I can resist 'starting' this one, and another vote 'that if I do' will I finish it.

I got absolutely no help from my partner in crime in the sewing room today.

Elly never crawled in bed last night. This morning the rug by the front door was overturned, and her toys were all over the living room. Yep....I think she stayed up all night. She slept all morning and woke up about 2:30 to clean herself.

I might have to hire a new quilting cat.....giggle.
