I'm trying to figure out how to add this to my right side, but it posted as a post. I copied the code to a gadget. I'm wanting to have a small area for my flickr photostream that will update as I add pictures.....grin. Too bad I don't know what I'm doing, but I'll get there. Any help is appreciated. I'll be trying to change the code on the right to make it fit and update.

James Brown and the Famous Flames

Yes, I can't sleep tonight. Decided to play on Youtube and came across one of my favorite songs. I don't know how many times I made my Mom listen to this song. I was 14. Gee Wiz that was 52 years ago.

Mick and I have seen James Brown in concert many times. The last just a few years before he died.

Edited: Memory is bad I was 17. It came out in 1963.

HoneyBee is starting to buzz.....

In From The Cold

Block 1

Block 1 is finished, but I will probably redo my steam. In fact, I'm sure I'll redo it. I used a variegated thread which didn't turn out like envisioned ....hahaha....need some glasses. Plus, it's pretty crooked, and I used a stem stitch which made it too thick.

Yep! I know the directions said to use a running stitch. NEXT time I'll use my glasses, a solid gray, follow the directions, and maybe try to steady my hand.

Hmmmm......the more I look at this picture the more the cup leans a little to the right.

Yes, I know it's a Spring fabric. However, we can't wait for cold weather in Texas to drink our Hot Chocolate.

American Idol

I've only seen a few of the singers this year. Big Mick hollered for me to come see Candice. Needless to say, Candice's performance had overwhelmed him. I heard a catch in his voice when he was telling about her song.

So today I share Candice. She brought a tear to an old man's eye.
