The Sampler Society #14

Block 19

Mick really thought I ought to get that sewing machine humming again, so these guys below would hear the noise and know there was no lunch here.

No!  Not just one.

The whole family wanted lunch.

Buzzards are so gross.

But then this little guy sang us a sweet song.

Get sewing so they'll fly away! I've never seen them on a house roof before!

Your block is lovely! Good luck with those birds...they look very comfortable where they are!

Another great block. We have Turkey Buzzards here - and they have been riding the cliff currents for several days - early morning they line the roof of the large barn to dry their wings out, very eerie.

Ugh is right, but they are useful - they get rid of the road kill or we'd have way more flies. Don't see them around here - too urban. We have begun to see mountain pigeons though - just think of them as regular pigeons on testosterone. Nice block as always. Sure would like to see all the blocks just laid on the floor to see how they look.

Buzzards!!! Yikes! Love your block, and the sweet cardinal - but not the buzzards!
