One Monthly Goal - September

Block 1 with Sashing or Outer Border

Block 2 with Sashing or Outer Border.

My goal for September was to put the sashing, Flying Geese, on 2 blocks.  It turns out the Geese are used as additional borders.  So I've added the cream and Flying Geese Borders.

So there you go!!

Of course, what is one of my post without the critters.

This little guy saw us watching him bury his Hickory Nut.  So he grabbed it and ran up the tree.  Not sure where the nut ended up, but I'm sure he knows.

Not sure if you can see it (click on the photo), but this guy has some antlers.

See you guys and gals next month.

One Monthly Goal for September

The top two photos are 312 flying geese.  These are the sashing for the 12 Blocks in this 2017 Designer Mystery.

My September plan is to sew these around at least 2 of the 12 blocks.

My sewing mojo is down the tubes right now.

Haha....that tired face made me smile...a little.

A few of this months visitors.  I never get tired of seeing them, but you guys and gals might...giggle.

A little fox by the burn pile watching Big Mick and Theo on the patio.

Gorgeous Woody Woodpecker eating lunch.

Just when I wonder where the yellow cat has gone off to, he shows up.

Not sure who he/she belongs to, but enjoy the visits.

And of course Theo aka T-Bo supervising Mick in a construction project.

The best neighbor cat ever.

Here are a few of my visitors this month

Theo the cat (Mick's shadow) from next door and an intruder.

I never did get a photo of the twins together.

Momma is so pretty!

Giving Mick the Raspberry!

And last but not least, Shelley (daughter) and Isla (granddaughter) saw this little cutie by a dumpster.  They named it Wilson.  I wouldn't look at it for the longest because, I was to afraid I would keep it.  We found an animal rescue to take Wilson who turned out to be Wilma....giggle.

Everyone have a great rest of July!

Bloglovin

I have had quite a few new follower from bloglovin from some type of sexual website. "www.sexynxah.website". I have no clue why they would be following me or what they may be doing with my content.

I've contacted Bloglovin several times with no response of how to block these followers.

Unless someone has a solution for me, I'll be removing my blogs from bloglovin.

Thanks for any help.

One Monthly Goal

Block 12

2017 Designer Mystery

"Going Steady"

Designed by Anne Sutton of Bunny Hill Designs

I had planned to do blocks 11 and 12 for my One Monthly Goal for June.  Yep, you guessed it.  I had already sewn block 11.  Old age and a foggy brain made this goal a lot easier....giggle.

2017 Designer Mystery

Block 12

"Going Steady"

Designed by Anne Sutton of Bunny Hill Designs

I had planned to do blocks 11 and 12 for my One Monthly Goal for June.  Yep, you guessed it.  I had already sewn block 11.  Old age made this goal easier....giggle.

That's good, because I haven't been in my sewing room for days.

As many of you know, Google is not sending emails to us when someone has commented on our blog post.
So I'm thanking you in advance for any comments.

A few photos from my week.

Momma bird is not happy with the lack of water.  No room for splashing around.
Texas heat dries it up quickly.  All is good now, and the birdbath is cleaned and filled.

Outside air conditioning.

Nothing cuter than a Mexican or Aztec Dove.  I can't tell the difference.

They always seem so happy and love to visit.

A little of our crop from our bucket garden.
The plants are some varieties of tomatoes shared with us by our great friend Ed.
Does anyone know what causes the cracks in the top left tomato?
Looks like stretch marks to me.

Everyone enjoy your weekend.

One Monthly Goal for June - 2017 Designer Mystery

Here are three of my blocks for the 2017 Designer Mystery from the Fat Quarter Shop.
This is sold out, but they are advertising the 2018 Designer Mystery now.  I have so many UFOs, I'll be trying to resist 2018.

😁

My One Monthly goal for June will be to finish Blocks 11 and Block 12.
