Angie's Hexie Weekend........

I "BEARLY" finished these hexies.....giggle

I can not believe it is already Friday again.....:(
Good news is on most Friday's I get to have a Cheeseburger from Superior Burger in downtown Elgin.  My favorite local burger place.

Here's a review Tasty Texas Travels

Taste so much better than it looks.  Cheeseburgers, fries, and soda less than $6.00.

Yum!

The Last Look......Sew Spooky

Totally finished!
(click on the photos for a closer look)

I have a house of windows with no walls to hold my quilts.  What else to do, but hang it in the window.  On the other side of the window is a covered patio.  There will be no direct sunlight coming in.

The gorgeous quilting is by Valerie Smith at Pumpkin Patch Quilter

Hexie Weekend and My Latest Block

My current block!!! ^*&(%

Try number two.  I'm trying to work on my Gypsy Wife.  I can't believe I'm 4 months behind.

Why don't I just get off my butt and go sew.  I read until about 2 or 3 or 4 in the morning.

Wake up about 9 or 10 or 11.

My DH brings me my dry Cheerios, pills, and coffee.  And yes you get the picture, I spend an hour or two staring out the window at these wild maybe Morning Glories that God sent me to enjoy.

Big Mick has started staying up late as well working on yet another puzzle.  That use to be my job.  He's not good at sharing the pieces with me.  A little of a control freak.
The doctor says his side pain is radiated from the  arthritis in his lower back.  He is thinking of golfing on Monday with a back brace.
Maybe I can work on the next puzzle while he's gone...:)

I'm determined not to start another UFO, but this little bundle of fabric keeps looking at me.
Hmmmmmmmm???

This one was a breeze compared to the Dr. Who puzzle.

Hexie Weekend

I'm all played out and ready to go in and take my nap on Grandma's couch

Buttttt
Is Elly waiting around the corner of the door to attach???

Do I take a chance?

I'm sure that ^*)%$ dog is thinking about coming back in my house.  I better go hide behind the kitchen table in wait.

~~~~~~~~~~
No sewing for me.  I had a couple of days cleaning house in preparation of my sweet cousin Sandra Ann  and Ron coming to visit.  We had so much fun talking and catching up.  My throat is now hoarse...:))
