Yucky feathers and a Beautiful Sunset.

Trying to learn FMQ.  This was the practice from SewCalGal
This is actually white fabric with cream thread.  I altered the color to try to make the stitching show up.  Join in at SewCalGals.  Yours won't look any worse than this.....giggle.

It's a brain thing and I've used up my brain!

Thursday night's susnset.  It looked like the sky was on fire.  Actually scared me a little bit.

After the bad fires around you I don't blame you for being a little nervous about red skies. I did my fethers on a table runner and the fabric doesn't allow them to really show - good thing.

and.. your feathers aren't yucky at all.. I realized I didn't even comment about them,so I am back. They look great. And what is that old adage.. practice makes perfect.

Oh, love that sunset! And yes, it might scare me, too. :-) I am going to go take some lessons on my new sewing machine and maybe one day I will be brave enough to give feathers a try. :-)

Last night's sunset was beautiful. I am glad you took some pictures. I kept talking about it, but it never dawned on me to go out and take pictures of it! Whose brain is all used up now!!

Beautiful sunset photos, Billie. And your feathers aren't so bad - and with practice they will be even better! I like them better than mine - you seem to have gotten the proportion way better than I did.

I can tell you that your feathers look wonderful, I wouldn't even attempt them - you wouldn't want to see!!! That sunset is just gorgeous - we call that a Mordor sky here, lol!

Beautiful sunset!! So what's so bad about the feather? I think it's not so bad. They take practice. Do nine more and then show me how it looks. I think you're off to a great start.
