The applique blocks are the same. However, on the block on the right I
followed the video I posted last Thursday. I sewed as much of the blanket stitch
that I could without stopping and starting.
You can see by the back that I did have less tie offs. I probably could have incorporated the 4 buds as well. I did have one extra because my thread broke. I'm sure the stitching is much stronger without all the little knots everywhere.
I love this method!

That is an informative photo, Billie - I like that method too! I just use the zig-zag stitch instead. It's so fast. Love that fabric!

Hi Billie... I like the comparisons and the idea... unfortunately I don't have a mirror image button hole stitch... to be honest I didn't know such a thing existed before seeing the video... I learn every day!!
