Applique Thursday!

The applique blocks are the same.  However, on the block on the right I
followed the video I posted last Thursday.  I sewed as much of the blanket stitch
that I could without stopping and starting.

You can see by the back that I did have less tie offs.  I probably could have incorporated the 4 buds as well.  I did have one extra because my thread broke.  I'm sure the stitching is much stronger without all the little knots everywhere.

I love this method!

That is an informative photo, Billie - I like that method too! I just use the zig-zag stitch instead. It's so fast. Love that fabric!

Thanks for linking up to Applique Thursdays.

Hello! Linda over at Stray Stitches gave us an award so I thought would come over and follow your blog. Looks like we do a lot of the same things.

Hi Billie... I like the comparisons and the idea... unfortunately I don't have a mirror image button hole stitch... to be honest I didn't know such a thing existed before seeing the video... I learn every day!!
