Maggie's First Dance

New Block of the Month at Jacquelynne Steves Blog

Finally went into my sewing room yesterday.  Not sure where all the time has gone.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
YUCK!!!!
This is one of the reasons I don't go outside in the summer.  Mick has taken care of these and many more, but if there is only one in the yard he/she knows when I step outside.
Pretty block - glad you found your sewing room. Yeah, if there is something around that bites or stings - I am a target.
What kind of stingies are those creatures Billie?
Clearly some of have sweeter blood than others but it's a right pain all round isn't it!
Mozzies are my stalkers ... And ironically the teensy tiny little gnats we get over here too!
When I flew for a living, I managed to get nozzle bitten all round the world and am allergic to the stings so my legs, arms feet would swell and go solid.
We could never use antihistamines when flying so carbolic soap was my go to solution for the itch at least.
Horse fly bites left me in a right state!
Why aren't there flying creature Light Saber Attackers for folks like us lol
The block is gorgeous. You are going to have a beautiful quilt. The bugs, not so much. =) I'm glad you have someone to take care of them for you!
Love your block and ew those flying critters that sting are definitely not my friend. I cringe when they fly with in 3 feet of me.
