Tartankiwi Butterfly

I made this Butterfly last August for

The Tartankiwi

I can't believe it's been this long already.  I kept it on my design wall so I wouldn't forget it with intentions of making it into a pillow.

After 9 months, it has a border.

Thinking of this for the backing.

I got a new goody for my overflow of fabric...giggle.

I should live long enough to use it all...:)

I'll be linking up today with Angie.

I've been following you for a while, but I guess it's not a year cause I'd have remembered that butterfly. Very pretty. I'd just keep it up on the wall. You know you'll miss it once it's gone to the couch.

I'm thinking more about that living long enough part. ;) I love your new fabric storage goody. Also love your butterfly. Perfect border, and I like the backing, too.

The border looks GREAT!!! I really love that butterfly, it looks incredibly complicated. The backing fabric is wonderful too.

Where did you get your new storage, I love it!!!

the butterfly will look lovely as a pillow, storage unit looks good for overflow fabric, I think most of us have more than we will ever use!

The butterfly is so pretty and I think your choice of backing fabric is perfect!

Like you I have lots of fabric and I'm not going anywhere until I've used it all up (at least that's my plan)!

Such a lovely butterfly! a year? well you need to think carefully what fabrics will work with things, so its not that long really!
That's a smashing fabric caddy too : )

That butterfly is gorgeous ...looks hard too. I'd probably mutilate that if I tried it :)

The fabric holder is such a nice piece! I like the baby's fleece blanket in the other post as well. Lucky baby :)
