Gorgeous block, gorgeous gals, handsome guy. So love the blue bonnets. Here in California we have the poppeys, but Texas has those stunning blue bonnets. I miss them too.

That is my favorite song from Sister Act as is Joyful, Joyful from Sister Act 2. Thank you, Billie. And thanks for linking to WIPs Be Gone.

Smashing block, such pretty ladies and what stunning flowers! Are they a wild flower? They have a look of shorter lupins, but different leaves of course. Gosh I could feel happy looking out on a filed ( or few!) of those magical coloured flowers.
I can see why everyones smiling and not just for the camera : )

The block is so pretty, and looks perfect. I love it when the bluebonnets bloom, and they do it in Texas like nowhere else. I've only been there once when I could look across an entire field of them near I-20. It was so beautiful!

The photographs of the flowers are stunning. What is the red flower in with the blue bonnets?

Love the new quilt block. It has a transparency about it that is very effective!
