Angie's Hexie Weekend

No hexies for me today.

I'm working on the binding for my Sew Spooky Quilt.
The gorgeous quilting was done by the Amazing Valerie Smith at the Pumpkin Patch Quilter

Warning below are pictures of where I sew.....giggle.
What a mess!

At one time I had plans of cleaning this disaster, but then I started to sew again.  I believe I'm channeling Eleanor Burns in this photo.

LOLLLL

Everyone have a great day!

Yep, creative genius for sure! Mine looks like that many a day. Looking forward to seeing your finish that has that great quilting on it and fun blocks - ahead of time for Halloween!

Valerie sure did a great job quilting your Spooky quilt! I think it is just wonderful that you have a sewing room! I would love to have one! If it is not messy you have not been sewing!

Hey, I sew in my living/dining area and it looks like this most of the time - I do like that thought " channeling Eleanor Burns". So happy to see you getting to that binding - that piece needs to be on the wall.

I had to laugh at your photos. I keep a trash can right next to me, and still get stuff all over. Loved the quilting I could see on your Halloween quilt.

you have a great place to sew and we all have those bits all around us when we work

I love the Hexie pillow with the bees.
I have a thread catcher by my machine but have threads all over the room, so your pieces of scraps shows you are busy having fun.

EB, yup, I see her influence. She does get around though, I've seen her influence in my sewing room, too. Lol

That quilting is AMAZING and the quilt itself is genius. LOVE the overall sneak peek.

I think I can beat you with the messy sewing room thing. Mine currently looks like a bomb went off in there but don't worry - you are definitely running a close second!

Im going to clean it up today...if I dont get distracted by a new project.

Are you sure you didn't take those pictures in my sewing room? Looks suspiciously like it!!!! I see your little inspector was taking notes too :) Lucky you to get your quilt done by Valerie - she's amazing, and your quilt is too!!!

That looks like a very loved sewing room to me. The mess is the result of hard work so why do you want to remove it? LOL. When my sewing room is too clean, I can't think!!
Valerie did an excellent job indeed.

I see I am not the only one that makes a mess!! At least I have a tiled floor so it is very easy to sweep up the mess at the end of the day, hated sewing in the room with carpeting.

The 'mess' is all part of it! The bigger the 'mess', the more you've accomplished.
