In From the Cold

Elly's trying to smooth out my quilt for me.
I think I'm finished with my flimsy.  The binding will be in the red.  I couldn't remember what the red was called.  I ended up order 3 different 1 yard reds before I figured it out.  Too bad the names aren't listed on the selvage for solids.

Oh I love it - it makes me want a cuppa chocolate right now. Too cute and so is the kitty. Visiting from WIP Weds.

You're quilt top turned out great!
I have a tip for you - when you purchase solid fabrics, immediately write the name in the selvedge with a sharpie marker. Such as "Kona Red". I write it several times on both selvedges if I have a yard or more. I got this tip from a magazine and it has been one of the best I've had.

I absolutely love the cups! Sooo cute! Love the steam coming up from some of the cups.

You're on a roll! Now pull out the batting and a backing and sandwich - you'll have it quilted before you know it and enjoying while Fall settles into Texas.

PS - it's beautiful and the cups are bigger than I thought.
